The radish was the first thing we were to draw in class using colored pencils. I was pleased that I could actually visualize what was before me. It is a lesson I have learned this term - that one is better drawing something before them than from the imagination. The branch provided another learning experience. The 3-D effect was obtained by using at least three different shades of gray.
