These three examples illustrate some new directions for my drawing. The quick pen illustration provided me with a freedom of line I hadn't explored in other portraits. The image from a slide resulted from the instructor first showing the slide out of focus and asking us to begin draw. As we drew focus the slide a bit more every few seconds. I like the result I obtain - very abstract. Finally water color was a whole new experience as was drawing shoes. I liked this result as an initial first step - so to speak.
