About: This Piano Sketchbook is just that - a collection of short piano pieces that explore different compositional problems. These are sketchs for ideas that might be further developed.

Each is composed and hand scored (see below) Then each is recorded and archived here as an MP3 file.

I haven't given these pieces "titles". I've numbered each as to the day it was "finished".

The goal of this summer project is to reacquaint myself with composing music - something I last did in 1962 as an undergraduate music major.
